You know, if you would look past the aesthetics of a roleplay you’d be in for a nice surprise every now and then. ‘Unquality’ roleplays tend to last way longer than a ‘quality’ roleplay would. I know this from firsthand experience. I constantly join roleplays whose mains look like works of art and they all die out either the next day or a few days later. On the other hand I was in a hobo (for lack of a better word) roleplay that had been going for four months at that point, and is STILL going. Roleplay has evolved, and not for the better but for the WORSE. People care too much about what a roleplay looks like and not what it’s all about. It’s annoying to hear people complain about how every roleplay dies when they don’t give every roleplay out there a chance. Anyways, the point of all of this is was to say that you either broaden your mind and don’t judge a roleplay by its theme. Or you put up and shut up with your ‘quality’ roleplays that die the next day.
